Paint Warranty

At Odyssey Steel & Trim, our paint warranty covers any paint finish that cracks, checks or peels (lose adhesion) for 40 years under normal conditions.  We have selected the Valspar WeatherXL™ siliconized polyester coil coating system because it is a full strength silicone polyester with a proven track record.

 

Trusses

Odyssey Steel & Trim uses locally built, pre-engineered wood trusses built in accordance with current TPI and AFPA design standards.  Engineered and built to your specific design criteria, using superior quality components, including DFL and SYP lumber, and ITW plates and engineering services.

 

Columns

Odyssey Steel & Trim uses columns that are engineered, glued-nailed and plated; with number 1 SYP treated bottoms, 1650 MSR (Machine Stress Rated) or better uppers.  They are planed on one edge for wall purlins to be attached to, and with a minimum of 6’ treatment.  The columns can face a wind load of 90 MPH and are treated southern yellow pine.
